With a simple and compact design, the Perfection V39 Photo Scanner from Epson is a capable 4800 dpi flatbed unit for scanning photographs, art, and general documents.
It has a scan speed of 10 seconds at 300 dpi with a scan area of 8.5 x 11.7″. Also, an internal color depth of 48-bit will enable the accurate rendition of color with good gradations. Operation of the device is easy as well with four built-in buttons on the front panel to quickly activate the scanner.
Additional features include a removable lid for scanning books and albums as well as a built-in kickstand for a vertical orientation. Advanced Digital Dust Correction and Easy Photo Fix technology allow users to quickly restore their photographs. Also, scanning directly to Facebook, Google Drive, and other cloud services is possible through the use of the Epson Document Capture Pro and Easy Photo Scan software while OCR software allows users to convert files into editable text. Additionally, it has USB 2.0 connectivity and is bus powered, meaning it does not require an additional AC adapter. And, for Windows only, ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch Deluxe Software enables the scanning of large, oversized print and documents by stitching together multiple scans into a single file.
